Our Terms and conditions:
In these conditions “the Company” means Locked and Secure Ltd and the “Customer” means the purchaser. “Products” means goods and installation services.
A quotation by the Company does not constitute a contract. A Contract is formed on verbal or written confirmation of the order by the customer.
Prices are fixed as agreed in the written quotation, written quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
Following quotation if the Company is no longer able to source the product specified due to circumstances beyond its control, The Company will suggest an equivalent and if not acceptable the customer has the right to cancel the order.
The risk in the Products passes to the customer upon delivery.
Where Products are ready for installation, the Company may agree to postpone the installation date provided the customer pays full price for the Goods (if not already done so).
7. THE CUSTOMER MUST:
a) Obtain and pay for all necessary consents and licences for the installation of the Products (such as Landlord's consent).
b) Give the Company (including its representatives) free access to the premises or site on the date and time agreed to install the Products, and arrange for easy and safe access to all working areas and surfaces to carry out installation of the Products.
c) Advise the Company of the existence of concealed water, gas, electricity, telephone or other services and point out their location before work commences. The Company will use reasonable skill and care in identifying concealed services not pointed out. The Company will only be liable for damage to these services or for resulting damage to the extent that it does not take such reasonable care.
d) Be responsible for the lifting of any floorboards or floor coverings. Note, the Company cannot be held responsible for any damage as a result of lifting and re fitting carpets.
8. Products will be installed in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
9. The Company will use reasonable endeavours to install products neatly and to conceal cables wherever reasonably possible. Where this is impractical cables will be surface run.
10. AFTER INSTALLATION, it is the responsibility of the customer to:
a) Operate the Products in accordance with the instruction manual or any other guidance provided at time of installation
b) Where applicable pay any line or equipment charged by third parties
c) Where applicable pay for all electrical supplies to the Products and remain responsible for the maintenance of all electrical
supplies to Products.
It is the responsibility of the company to:
a) Carry out at the Company’s expense any repairs or replacements to the Products required by any faulty materials or workmanship within 12 months of the date of installation of the Products.
b) At the request of the Customer and within reasonable time after such request carry out further works necessary to keep the Products in operation or modify, upgrade or replace the Products at an agreed price.
11. PAYMENT:
a) The company may request a part payment of 50% (made up of 10% non-refundable deposit) and a staged payment to contribute towards the cost of parts (purchased specifically for the customer).
b) Where products are supplied and installation is not required, payment in full is required at the time that the consumer enters into
the contract (verbal or written acceptance of quotation).
12. Goods supplied are intended only to reduce the risk of loss or damage to the Customers property and injury to persons to the extent that it is reasonable practicable by use of such Goods. The company gives no undertaking to the Customer that the Products may not be compromised or circumvented or that the Products will prevent any loss by burglary theft or otherwise. The Company does not guarantee that particular loss, damage or injury can and will be prevented by use of the Products.
